Ambulances Pass State Licensing Inspection

They are looking at the new van ambulance that is more cost-efficient to operate with Basic Life Support patients than the big box ambulances.

They passed Emergency Health Services Federation inspection on February 25 so the 10 ambulances operated by Northwest EMS are licensed to operate for another three years.

Daisy Troop Visits Manheim Station

Manheim Daisy Troop 71295 visited Northwest EMS’s Manheim station to deliver stuffed animals for the ambulances to give to children who are sick or injured and need EMS services.

When Troop Leader Stephanie Smith asked the girls what community service projects they would like to support, the girls chose Northwest EMS and the Manheim Food Bank. Penn Township and Pleasant View Retirement Community will celebrate Penn Township Community Day on Saturday, May 3, at 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim.
