We Have Two-Thirds of Our Vest Funds

Northwest EMS has received $20,642.80 of our $30,000 goal to purchase ballistic vests for crew members. The EMS agency recognized the growing hazard to its EMTs and paramedics as the opioid crisis and active shooter threats increase, and decided to provide bullet-resistant vests for the crews on the streets. Northwest EMS covers the northern tier of Lancaster County from Conoy Township to Clay Township, including Elizabethtown and Manheim.
