Northwest EMS Presented The Commander’s Award

Northwest EMS was recently presented with a Commander’s Award from the Lancaster County US Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots® Coordinator, Gil Bixler. Bixler presented a certificate representing the award to Northwest EMS Community Outreach Manager, Lori Shenk, in appreciation for outstanding support of Toys For Tots® during 2022.

Northwest EMS Academy Graduates Their First Class Of EMT Students

In January, 2021, Northwest EMS began offering EMT classes as part of our newly credentialed EMS Academy. The first students enrolled did so as part of a pilot program with Elizabethtown High School. Under the direction of Northwest EMS Paramedic, Ryan Runkel, students received classroom education, practical skills training, and ambulance ride-along opportunities.
