Northwest EMS Academy Graduates Their First Class Of EMT Students

In January, 2021, Northwest EMS began offering EMT classes as part of our newly credentialed EMS Academy. The first students enrolled did so as part of a pilot program with Elizabethtown High School. Under the direction of Northwest EMS Paramedic, Ryan Runkel, students received classroom education, practical skills training, and ambulance ride-along opportunities. National EMS Memorial Service (NEMSMS) Slated To Honor Paramedic Douglas Zima

Northwest EMS has been advised that the National EMS Memorial Service (NEMSMS) will be honoring Paramedic Douglas Zima at this year’s memorial observances in Washington, DC on July 24th.
