Northwest EMS has taken on a joint building project with Manheim borough to develop a 3.5+ acre parcel of property upon which Northwest will build a new EMS station and the borough will build a new police station.

The project will allow the two public service organizations to more efficiently serve the community by insuring adequate room for staff, equipment and daily operations. The new emergency services campus, located along West Colebrook Street and North Charlotte Street in Manheim, is located on what was formally the American Legion Ammon K. Gibble Post #419.

The project is still in the planning process, and Northwest EMS will announce more information in the near future about a capital campaign to fund the construction of the EMS building. It is anticipated that construction will begin in 2015. For more information, contact Lori Shenk at 717-371-8282.
