Capital Campaign Hits Two-Thirds of Goal

With over $650,000 raised for construction of our new station in Manheim, Northwest EMS is preparing for a planned construction start later this summer. Several months ago we put together a leadership team to help us raise the funds for this project, and that team has successfully secured more than two-thirds of the $900,000 needed.

Featured in the photo (left to right) are honorary campaign co-chairmen Mike Graham and Dr. Lewis Jury, and campaign chairman Coach Mike Williams.

The team continues to seek pledges on behalf of Northwest EMS, and later this week Manheim-area residents will receive a letter inviting them to help complete the fundraising efforts.

We are calling this our “Campaign to Save Lives.” Manheim area residents served by Northwest EMS  will receive a letter explaining how they can be a part of funding this project. The letter includes the option of a one-time donation or a five-year pledge. In addition to the letters being mailed to residences, over 500 promotional brochures have been mailed to the area businesses.

The Manheim community has generously supported The Campaign to Save Lives and we are confident they will continue to do so until all the funds have been raised.  Questions can be directed to Lori Shenk, Community Outreach Manager for Northwest EMS, at 665-2904 or 371-8282.
