Northwest EMS offers Allergy-Free Trick-Or-Treat!

At Northwest EMS, we believe every child should be able to experience trick-or-treat without fear of a life-threatening allergy and that is why we are a Teal Pumpkin Project partner.  On October 31, between 6 & 8 PM, you can bring your children trick-or-treating to either our Manheim or our Elizabethtown station where they will receive toys, an activity book or another small item, rather than candy.  This is something we offer every year during Lancaster County’s trick-or-treat night as an alternative to offering candy.

The Teal Pumpkin Project is a world-wide initiative of FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) and Northwest EMS if proud to be a supporting partner.   FARE is you go-to resource for information, education and support for coping with food allergies.   Don’t live in fear of food allergies.  Visit FARE’s website at www.foodallergy.org for information, education, support and more.

We hope to see you on October 31.  Because every child should be able to experience trick-or-treat without fear of a life-threatening allergy!
