Save A Life Events Available To The Public

The day after a tragedy is not the day to learn the simple live-saving skills that may have saved the life of your loved one.

In an out of hospital cardiac arrest or traumatic hemorrhage injury, it’s the family member or bystander who renders effective care that is the critical link to survival for the victim. What you do in those few minutes before the arrival of the ambulance makes all the difference.

Contact our Community Outreach Manager, Lori Shenk, to coordinate a Save A Life event for your business, your civic group, or other group, and let us teach you Hands Only/Bystander CPR and Stop The Bleed. Both education topics are recommended for all persons over the age of about 15 and are provided by Northwest EMS free of charge. If your space allows, we can open the event to the public.

In addition to Hands Only CPR and Stop The Bleed training, we offer AHA CPR certification and provide education and prevention programs on topics such as Cribs For Kids Safe Sleep education, Concussion Awareness, Poisoning Dangers and Look A Like Chemical Dangers.
