Concussion Awareness Program

Concussions are a traumatic brain injury with potentially serious life-long effects and Northwest EMS, in collaboration with the American Trauma Society, is engaged in a Concussion Awareness initiative aimed at educating athletes, coaches and trainers on the risks of concussions and how to identify the signs and symptoms of a concussion.

Paramedic and EMT Job Application

Crews Meet Prior to October 1 Merger

Crew members from Northwest EMS and Manheim Memorial ambulances mingled in two “meet and greet” events recently. The EMTs and medics officially will begin working together on October 1, when the two become one under the Northwest EMS name with the new numerical designation of “86.”
